This Connector is often used to take a break from Powerline to join the (slightly) more gentle Prospect Shafts, and still make your way to the top, via Hogback. Catch your breath for .2 mile before climbing back up.

It is on Earth that the Road to Mars Trail lies, though its name may suggest otherwise. Acting as a border between northwest and north Mount Helena, the trail leads to quite a lot of different ones.
The PanHandle Trail can be found between Le Grande Cannon Boulevard, Northwest Passage, and, a little higher up, the Ambrose Trail. It hasn’t been confirmed to which pan this trail is the handle, but using this peaceful path to loop Northwest Passage with Ambrose Trail can create a nice stroll.
From the O.G.R. Trail, reach the Old Chevy Trail via this tiny tenth of a mile short path.
This connector is a quick and convenient way to shorten an outing or get back on the right trail if you accidentally got lost. About a fifth of a mile long, this trail will take you where you need to be in no time.
Northwest Passage contours along the northwest side of Mount Helena. To access the trail, park at the Tubbs Trailhead and climb the Swaney Trail for a quarter mile. Travel west through meadows and old growth Ponderosas to the Road to Mars Trail. Northwest Passage can be combined with many westside trails for varying loops.
