On the west side of Mount Helena, Diretissima connects Old Chevy and Andy’s trails to Prairie and Ambrose trails. The name means “most direct route” in Italian, and this trail is true to its name, offering an efficient way to explore the area by foot or bike. A little steep but very charming, the trail takes its users through a quiet forest in which wildlife can often be seen.
