Le Grande Cannon is a flat, multi-use trail that wraps around the north side of Mount Helena and offers wonderful views of the Helena Valley. Some sections are dirt or gravel and closed to vehicles, while other sections are paved, accessible, and open to vehicles. Le Grande Cannon is an excellent starting point for exploring Mount Helena.
There are many options for hiking, running, or biking Le Grande Cannon. The easternmost trailhead is at the end of Holter St. Heading west, users will pass the Tubbs Trailhead and the Silverette Trailhead, where the pedestrian-only section begins.
