Black Forest Trail

In the summer of 1988, a massive wildfire left this area completely calcinated, a visual which led to this trail’s name: the Black Forest Trail. Today, nature is green again, and a beautifully peaceful meadow makes up a good portion of the trail. Many use it as a connector between Evans Trail and Wakina Sky Trail or the Stairway to Heaven segments of the Wakina Sky area.
