Starting off at Mt Helena Trailhead, the Ambrose Trail traverses the entire north side of Mount Helena from east to west. Ambrose Trail is ideal for admiring views of the city, the valley, and the mountain summit. To return to the trailhead on a different route, take Road to Mars to Diretissima, Prairie, and, at last, the 1906 Trail.
