Guided Trail Walk Schedule

Learn about our wonderful wildflowers on this guided walk.

This hike and nature scavenger hunt begins at Tubbs trailhead and starts at 6 p.m. Go west on Le Grande until just after it turns to dirt - the trail head is right there. Kids and adults should wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather. Refreshments provided!

Come join us for a great evening of weed pulling followed by a delicious BBQ!

Crash Course on Geocaching. Join us for an introduction to geocaching. Geocaching uses a GPS unit to find hidden containers placed by other geocachers. More than 100 geocaches are within 3 miles of the Beattie Street trailhad. If you have a GPS, bring it along; a few units will be available. Kids over 10 and adults will enjoy learning about geocaching at this event. The hike will be about 1 mile in length and take about 1-1/2 hours. Please wear sturdy shoes and dress for the weather.

The hike is a little more than one mile in length but will open new and easier access to some trails and points. Depending on how often we stop to enjoy the views, the hike will take 1.5 to 2 hours. Bring your camera to capture some of the spectacular vistas!

To get to the Arrowroot Trailhead from downtown, go East on Broadway. Turn right on Sanders which becomes Virginia Dale. Turn right on Lime Kiln and then turn right again on Lime Kiln at S. Hills Rd. Lime Kiln becomes Arrowroot. Follow Arrowroot up the hill and take a right on an unmarked road at top of hill. You can then park along this road. Signs will be out to help you find the meeting place.
