Join Prickly Pear Land Trust staff and volunteers in giving back to the trails that are such a big part of living in Helena. Meet at the designated area at 5:30 p.m. where we will have a short discussion of the project for the day and divide into smaller work groups. These events are fun for the entire family and we always have a variety of tasks to match everyone’s ability and interest. Prickly Pear Land Trust will provide the tools and instruction on trail work. We also have gloves, if you need them. You need to bring:
- enthusiasm for the trails
- wind/rain gear
- eye protection
- work gloves
- sun protection: hat, sunscreen
- sturdy shoes
- good weather
We typically work rain or shine. However, we will not work if there are storms in the area that contain high winds or lightning. In the event of unfavorable weather, we will make the determination to reschedule the event by 4 p.m. on the afternoon of the workday and post the cancellation notice on our website and Facebook page.
